Meeting held at Banks Township Hall in Ellsworth
Members Present:			Jerroll Drenth, Carl Veenstra, Gary Strange, and Betty Hoffmann
Members Absent:			Jake Veenstra

1.         Call to Order
	The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
2.         Public Comment
	None
3.         Review of Minutes
	Motion by Betty Hoffmann, supported by Jerroll Drenth, to approve the May 2009 minutes as presented.  Motion carried – unanimous.
4.         Various Matters
	Discussion ensued over when and how often the Commission should meet.  Further discussion ensued over the Parks and Recreation Plan.  Our next meeting will meet in July 7, 2010 at the Antrim Creek Natural Area, weather permitting. Discussion ensued over putting a boat launch on Lake Michigan. Motion by Carl Veenstra, supported by Betty Hoffman, to request that any information regarding the Antrim Creek Natural Area that will be written in the Antrim County Parks and Recreation Plan should first be reviewed and approved by the ACNA Commission.  Motion carried – unanimous. Discussion ensued over the wildflower and the trail maintenance.  The Commission asked the Coordinator/Planner Office to look into re-grooming the non-ADA trails.
