Members Present:		Richard Diebold, Sherry Comben, Bob Peterson, Peter Garwood, Bob Peterson, Allyn Wright, Rea Ann Thompson and Jerome Simowski
Members Absent:		Laura Stanek and Tom Lane
Staff and Others:		Joe Meyers, Sheri Rhoads and Terry Crandall-Kimble.
1.         Call to Order
	Meeting called to order at 8:40 a.m. by Rick Diebold.
2.         Minutes of the January 24, 2006 Meeting
	Motion by Jerome Simowski, seconded by Sherry Comben, to approve the January 24, 2006 minutes.  Motion carried - unanimous.
3.         Northern Lakes Economic Brownfield Site Identification – Sheri Rhoads
	Sheri Rhoads gave an update on the EPA grant that NLEA received and indicated that they would like to have more sites potentially located throughout the county. Discussion ensued over different sites throughout the County and issues faced with cleaning Brownfield’s.

7.         Member/Public Comment
	Discussion ensued over Shanty Creek and the Committee requested staff to invite the new owner of the Company to the next EDC meeting. Ms. Crandall-Kimble informed the Committee of tax abatements for tool and die shops recently introduced by Senator Jason Allen.  Ms. Crandall-Kimble also informed the Committee of a 15% tax break for small businesses.
