1.         Call to Order
	The meeting was called to order at 8:35 a.m. by Pete Garwood.
2.         Organizational Meeting
	Jerome Simowski nominated Rick Diebold as Chair, Tom Lane as Vice Chair, and Sherry Comben as Treasurer. Motion by Laura Stanek, supported by Jerome Simowski, to close nominations and a unanimous ballot to be cast for Rick Diebold for Chair.  Motion carried – unanimous. Jerome Simowski Nominated Bob Peterson as Vice Chair Motion by Laura Stanek, supported by Jerome Simowski, to close nominations and a unanimous ballot to be cast for Bob Peterson for Vice Chair.  Motion carried – unanimous. Motion by Jerome Simowski, supported by Laura Stanek, to hold meetings on the third Tuesday of January, April, July, and October at 9:00 am.  Motion carried – unanimous.
3.         November 24, 2009 Minutes
	Motion by Jerome Simowski, supported by Laura Stanek to approve the November 24, 2009 minutes as presented.  Motion carried – unanimous.
4.         Various Matters
	Pete Garwood spoke on what Elk Rapids is doing with Economic Development.  Discussion ensued over a building inventory and the CEDS.  Pete Garwood also talked about a business center in and for Bellaire. Sheri Rhoads spoke on the Land Bank Training that the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance (NLEA) held in Charlevoix County.  Discussion ensued over Land Banks and the NLEA.  Sheri Rhoads also discussed the status of the Mancelona Renewable Resources (MR2) Project.  She also spoke on the Facid program in Mancelona.  Sheri Rhoads also spoke about different grants that are available in the area.  Rick Diebold wanted to thank Tom Lane for his years of service and get him a plaque and have the Board pass a resolution.
