The Emergency Management Agency is Antrim's leading agency for the coordination of emergency management programs and response measures. Its mission is four-fold: to prepare the citizens of Antrim County with the knowledge and expertise necessary before a disaster strikes; to respond during a disaster; to assist with recovery efforts after a disaster; and to mitigate by taking the necessary steps to prevent or lessen the effects of a disaster before and after one occurs.

The goal set by the Emergency Management Director is to assist the Antrim County citizens by making their life and property safer through mitigation and preparation prior to any natural or man made disaster in Antrim County.
