Health, Animal Control & Public Safety Committee

The Health, Animal Control, and Public Safety Committee discusses and makes recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners on operational and policy matters concerning the county health system, animal shelter and control, law enforcement, court system, and emergency services. They also exercise operational and/or budgetary oversight functions over the County Sheriff's Department and all of its functions, the County Probate Court, Circuit Court, Friends of the Court, District Court, NW Michigan Community Health Agency, County Emergency Services, 911 Board, and the Prosecuting Attorney's office.

Meeting Date:		Last Wednesday of every month
Time and Location:		9:00 a.m. – Room 120 (County Bldg, 203 E. Cayuga Street, Bellaire)
