Telecommunicators

The members of our dispatch team are professional Emergency Telecommunicators. Each telecommunicator received extensive training upon joining our agency, and is provided continual training and education throughout their time of service.

Emergency Telecommunicators are members of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials and the National Emergency Number Association. They have been certified by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch as Emergency Medical Dispatchers and are CPR certified. Dispatch team members are in compliance with the State of Michigan’s 911 Committee training standards.

Emergency Telecommunicators are often challenged to make critical operational decisions, but are always guided by our agency's dedication to public service, first responder safety, and professionalism. The entire 911 Team regrets a time when an emergency may require you contact us, but in those times we aim to provide you with the vital services that you need.
