Antrim County Parks invites the public for a walk through of the upcoming updates to Barnes Park on 9/16/22 at 4PM at the Barnes Park Office! Bring your walking shoes and questions while our Parks Director answers questions, notes concerns & shows visitors and residents the intended improvements to take place in the Fall/Winter of 2022!


Antrim County's Barnes Park Campground offers Northern Michigan's finest camping. Located on Grand Traverse Bay, the park offers spacious wooded campsites. The friendly safe environment makes this park a perfect place for a family vacation or a quiet get-away. Whether you choose to walk the beach, sit by the campfire, hike in the woods on our trails, or ride your bike, make Barnes Park Campground your vacation destination in 2022.

Barnes Park Campground will be accepting reservations for the 2022 camping season starting April 12, 2022 for 7-14 day stays and all other reservations will be available on April 15th!

If you enter your desired dates & no results display, this means there is likely no openings for the selection. We require a 2 night minimum for non holiday & five night minimum for holiday weekends.
Lock Site Fee 
While we guarantee your chosen site type & amenities, our automated optimization system may change your site location. You can guarantee your chosen site location by paying a $10 lock fee. 
Is the park still first come first serve?
The park has been by reservation only since 2020. This has helped more campers enjoy the park, reduced unused campsites & enabled us to improve the park with the extra generation of funds.
