We hope you take a few moments to visit each department tab and introduce yourself to our organization. You will find helpful information about our office. There are forms that you may print and links that you may find helpful as an added resource.

The Administration Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The entrance to the lobby is located at 107 Grove St, Bellaire. 

Some of the walk-in service provided in the lobby of the Administration are no trespass after warnings and FOIA requests.  FOIA requests can also be emailed or faxed.  Please call for assistance. You will need to make appointments for new handgun purchase permits,  by appointment only on Mondays and Wednesdays. Returns can be mailed to us using our P.O. Box 568, Bellaire, MI 49615.

PHONE SCAM ALERT:

We’ve been getting reports of scam calls that residents have received.  More recently these calls are coming from phone numbers with a 231 area code and the topic is concerning social security checks.

These are scam calls.  They are not real.  Social Security will not call you, and they will not ask for your social security number.

Don’t be fooled by the 231 area code.  If you don’t recognize a number, you don’t have to pick up the phone.
