Antrim County government is comprised of a 5-member elected Board of Commissioners and the county departments

The Board of Commissioners is the county's governing body. The Board is the central policy-making body of the county and approves the county's budget.

A number of commissions & advisory boards have been created to assist the Board of Commissioners in various ways. Members of these commissions and boards are appointed by the Board. Special boards and commissions meet periodically to assist the Commissioners.
